Martijn Ten Velden (Holland) Friday 19 May 2006 at Zouk One of today’s most under-rated, yet innovative producers on the scene, Martijn first foray into production was with David James as the inimitable Audio Drive. But it is his work with Mark Knight of Toolroom Records that formed a very successful partnership. Their first production, “Our House EP” received massive radio support from Pete Tong. Their next production 'Acid Test', was again supported by Tong plus Seb Fontaine, Annie Nightingale, X-press 2, and hailed by Steve Lawler as his biggest track of 2003. A string of high profile remixes, including the massive remixes for Soul Central’s 'Strings of Life', and Ferrer & Sydenham’s 'Sandcastles', plus collaborations with Lucient Foort, and other solo projects, have only helped to keep Martijn well & truly in the dance charts and on dancefloors around the world. zouk/ phuture admission on 19 May for non-members (incl 2 drinks): $15 before 10pm, $23/$28 after (Information provided by Zouk Club)
