Have you read the local newspapers & magazines and seen the term Nu Beats to describe the genre of music we call eclectic? Well that just shows the reach of this night and how it has become synonymous with eclectism and a particular style of marrying all genres together be it soul, broken beat, nu jazz or house into one solid groove.
- For the record, we made the word up!  Nu Beats is just the name of the monthly night at Phuture, not the genre that’s played… but hurrah! We’re happy to contribute to the English vocabulary, just remember where you saw it first!
