We are at the height of the 1980’s pop revival resurfacing two decades later and at the beginning of the next millennium. In this megalomaniac era of diversity in every genre of sound, Andy Bell has come forth with his alluring vocals and sounds from the days of original eletronica. Track names such as “Caught In A Spin”, “Jealous” and “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” are perfected with Bell’s unique abilities to create a fourteen-track modern day love letter!
Better known as front man of 80’s synth sensation band Erasure, Andy Bell is bringing back a piece of that great period that took experiments out of the lab and in the studio!
Electric Blue is a balanced blend of old and new electronica combining the best elements of pop and disco with the madness of the dance floor combined with Bell’s flamboyancy in composition. Featuring collaborations with Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) and Claudia Brucken (Propaganda and Act) this album could be destined for a U turn re-revival to the original days of electronica.
