Artist: Craig David Album: Trust Me Trust Me is the (horribly titled) fourth studio album from the 26 year-old Craig Ashley David. After hitting the big-time aged only 19 with 2000's Born To Do It, he managed to gain much international fame from the catchy singles that were heard non stop and made me want to hurt things. In fact Craig David makes me want to tear the eyes out of puppies to vent my frustration at sappy, inane, catchy-chorus pop r&b... reviewers are supposed to be objective, but I draw the line at this fumbling fame-hungry chump. While producing his fourth album he felt it necessary to butcher a version of Bowie's Lets Dance... or more to the point he simply arranged his vocals over it, I think he's attempting to pass himself off as the British Kanye. Throughout the rest of the album he just continues to irritate by attempting to be smooth, but has the charm of a sweat drenched pedophile. Well perhaps thats a little strong. For those die hard Craig fans out there he probably won't disappoint as there's nothing too new to his formula. He won't be making any new fans here though. "Hot Stuff (Let's Dance)" - 3:42 "6 of 1 Thing" - 3:47 "Friday Night" - 3:33 "Awkward (featuring Rita Ora)" - 3:37 "Just a Reminder" - 3:49 "Officially Yours" - 3:55 "Kinda Girl for Me" - 3:47 "She's on Fire" - 5:04 "Don't Play with our Love" - 3:59 "Top of The Hill" - 3:54 "This is the Girl" (with Kano) - 4:10 Review by Robin J.
