The Milano restaurant in wanchai is truly a hidden gem amoung the vast concrete surroundings. Hidden on the second floor beside the Viceroy (Indian Restaurant) that is very good also. It brings the customer a fresh feel when entering there, the waitresses come to you in a very polite and plesant fashion when you get thru the door you can select to sit inside when then temperatures of the summer season are hot and sticky, from which you will be protected by a god sent air-co breeze. Unless you book the business table that seems like something taken out of a fantasy movie, some may say very lord of the rings like. The decor is plesant and the jars of giant chills are colourful. The starters are of such a selection that you could close your eyes and think you were truly eating off the coast of Naples. The breads and olive paste, what a god send indeed to have beside your pelegrino water. The pizzas are made for a more refined pallet rather than the simple ham & chesse day to day choices. Pasta, mama mi what a choice indeed , you can choose from varios types including my favorite angel hair to mix with delightfully light sauces. The desserts vary from season to season but superb is not enough to call it as such. Would I advise you to go of course. Do I go often, when I need to remeber the good old days that I spend in Venice, sure.
