We have 5 pairs of places for the guestlist for the Friday night to see The Bang Gang up from Australia on the September 9th at Volar in the heart of Lan Kwai Fong.

This event is sponsored by Diesel, so expect some amazing visuals like the last time they sponsored electro DJ Tommy Sunshine to come to Hong Kong.

The Bang Gang is Australiaâs most notorious, trashiest, random and downright weird club night, where the six boys (Ajax, Jaime Doom, Dangerous Dan, Gus da Hoodraft, DJ Damage and Double Nolan) smash it out on five decks, two mixers, an effects pad, a vocoder and the odd tambourine, accompanied by drag queens, hoola hoopers, bollywood dancers, fashionable f*@ks and the occasional slice of obscene nudity.

The Bang Gang play wacked out sets of electrohouseacidpop and jiggyjiggysexrock that get boys and girlsâ booties wiggling, bits jingling, lips synching and juices mingling. Their super-fun-happy party sets sound something like Cyndi Lauper, Tiga, Soulwax, New Order and Daft Punk at a drunken karaoke orgyâ¦

Played at Sydneyâs biggest music festivals including We Love, Good Vibrations, Field Day and Splendour on the Grass and hold residencies in Melbourne, Canberra, Byron Bay, Townsville, The Bang Gang have supported the likes of 2manydjs, Tiga, Ewan Pearson, Miss Kittin, DJ T. Captain Camatose, Matt Safer, Adam Freeland, Felix Da Housecat, Jo Mills, Dexter, Darren Emerson, Moonbootica, Deep dish, Cash Money, The Outlaws and lots of other superstar DJs. They have also toured the land of Oz supporting Mylo and Damian Lazarus. At the moment, they are finishing up a double mix CD for Ministry of Sound.

Diesel & Volar are thrilled to bring to Hong Kong, the very first time, 3 of the Bang Gang DJs (Ajax, Jaime Doon & DJ Damage), meshing it up on a humble 3 technics-2 mixers-2 cd decks set up. Get ready for a phenomenal gig and prepare to rock the night away!
