Frank was born & raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania and realized right away he was't like the other boys... he liked to dance!

Growing up on a steady diet of "K-Tel", roller skates, "Jordache" and a sense of something more, he eventually made his way to New York in '95 and quickly immersed himself in the music scene.

After a few years of listening to the best DJs in the world, collecting music, and twisting knobs in his DJ friends apartments, he found himself spinning records in the basement of the infamous CBGB's on the lower east side for the Slam Champion Urbana Poetry series -- "It was like the bar from Star Wars, man!"

After a year underground (literally), he landed a spot at Club Cheetah, where everthing seemed to come together, and has played at major clubs & events in New York, Washington D.C. and San Francisco ever since. The most notable perhaps was a set in the main room @ Club Space in Ibiza in the Summer of '04. He was a resident with Re:fuge @ Le Souk, one of the most popular house parties in NY from summer of '03 to '04.

His style ranges form sexy San Fran to Big Room New York, as he takes pride in being able to play to almost any room. His biggest influences would have to be Danny Tenaglia & Erick Morillo, as well as all the guests they've had through parties over the years. Frank loves being known as a New York DJ and strives to live up to the level of expectation it implies.

"I’ve been really lucky, not only to work, but to be able to express myself in the way that I have, and for it to be appreciated like it has, it's just the ultimate thing.”

For 2005 Frank is working on taking that expression to the next level through his own production, and shaking as many asses as possible. - Look for the release of "Capicu", by Frank & Conrado Martinez, on Basic Beat Records this spring.
