After conquering stages across the globe from 2005 to 2009, QUEEN – It’s A Kinda Magic has electrified audiences from France to Turkey, Germany to Dubai, United States and Canada, the Far East, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand…. Now, in 2010, they are set to do it again and provide audiences with the excitement of seeing Queen live, the theatrical creation of the very best of Queen live in concert.

The music industry’s undisputed ‘royalty’ ─ the late Freddie Mercury and Queen─ are once again thrilling audiences in a dazzling tribute that brings back the true spirit of rock. Described by Peter Freestone, Freddie Mercury’s official biographer and personal assistant to Mercury for the last 12 years of his life as “the most sensational Queen tribute ever staged,” QUEEN – It’s A Kinda Magic will be mounted at the Lyric Theatre, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) from 13-18 April 2010 for 6 performances only. Tickets are on sale at all HK Ticketing outlets beginning Friday, 5 March.


QUEEN – It’s A Kinda Magic delivers the whole Queen experience. With 21st century sound and lighting, and a cast that takes magnetism to new heights, this theatrical attraction creates the 1986 world tour of Freddie Mercury and Queen. The passion and excitement of Freddie Mercury, the amazing guitar solos of Brian May and all those unbelievable harmonies from the whole band, the best of the 1970's - 80's rock era, taking audiences back in time.

The Cast
Craig Pesco’s outrageous stage antics and personality make him the perfect Freddie;
Travis Hair’s guitar recreates Brian May's inimitable style and sound;
Brett Millican’s voice is a dead-ringer for drummer Roger Taylor; and
Matt Newton offers the unmistakable bass of John Deacon.
