After a wild start on New Year’s night, with the Pink Flamingo session, the Concoction Project is back and joins THC on the decks for an all Gaelic challenge of totally new sounds, totally amazing genres and totally outrageous tracks that will melt your ears, yet one more time. Be touched by the real French touch, in the house of Hong Kong’s sexiest and only New York style bar. When East side meets East sounds, it’s all hands in the air and jaw dropping asses on the floor.

So if you missed the Pink Flamingo session, come down and believe. THC + Concoction Project: real good music still exist, more than ever!

Bebek Bengil 3, Elite Concepts’ Balinese restaurant, will now be known primarily under its English name, Dirty Duck Diner. Food lovers who have had a bit of trouble pronouncing the name will find the new title as easy on the tongue as are the restaurant’s famous dishes.

The name comes from an incident during the construction of the restaurant’s first namesake in Ubud, Bali. One day a flock of ducks traipsed into the restaurant from a local paddy field, leaving muddy footprints everywhere. The restaurant became Bebek Bengil, which is Bahasa Indonesia for “Dirty Duck.” The Hong Kong restaurant is the third restaurant to bear the name, hence Bebek Bengil 3.

Diners are reassured that while the name has been translated, the dishes are still the same authentic Balinese cuisine as they have always been. After all, a Bebek Bengil by any other name will taste as sweet.

Cinecittà – Menu di San Valentino

Cinecittà offers a tasty tribute to St. Valentine (who was, after all, a Roman). The prix fixe menu includes I Tortelloni con Mascarpone Menta e Carciofi su Fonduta allo Zafferano (home made tortelloni with mascarpone, artichokes mint on saffron fondue), Grilled Mediterranean Langoustines, and Roasted Milk-fed Lamb. 
At Cinecittà couples will receive a photograph to remind them of their special evening and roses for all the ladies….

Igor’s Group’s Charity Night for Victims of Tsunami

Best Cocktails

Chapter 3 & Drop Club are joint position for this one. Chapter 3 has the best extensive selection of cocktails on offer, but Drop has some fantastic Martinis that are worth trying at some point.

Best Food

This is a tough one as there is so much great food in Hong Kong. Therefore the Eclipse Group wins this catergory as most of their outlets are at the top of the list for the best in Hong Kong. These include Boca, Coyote and KBG.

Best Open Area

Le Jardin wins this one as it is an open Asian theme bar which is the in the centre of Central but makes you feel like you are some where else. Great place to chill out at.

Best Party Atmosphere

Another tough catergory as it depends on what people class as a party! Overall Drop late at night has always been a great place to go to and have some fun on the small dance floor.

        The Funkraiser, a fund raiser for the Nepalese Child Welfare Scheme which sponsors disadvantaged youth in Nepal with job training, kicks off Friday, Dec. 3, at 1/5 in Wanchai. Coupled with Lamma Fun Day, the Funkraiser raised more than $50,000 towards helping get Nepalese youths off the streets and into viable careers.

        The Funkraiser will be at 1/5 in Wanchai this year, with local afro-beat and funk band NUDE unleashing a fresh set of originals and obscure covers in their first performance since their high-voltage performance at the Rock-It Festival. Supported by deejays Simon Pang and DJ Drayfus.
