In preparation for their launch in their new home this December, the SilverBlack Card were lucky enough to be invited to a pre-launch preview dinner.  There will be many changes to FINDS, but at the core the team are still strong and Chef Jaako Sorsa still woos us with his creations. 
 
New to the team is the new face and MD of FINDS Anna Adasiewicz:  previously hiding herself away in the shadows, she's the new embodiment of the FINDS lifestyle.  The new restaurant manager Michael Tomasik is also on board to look after your gastronomical needs!

 The preview dinner is everything you know with a little bit of a twist.  As always the ingredients are sourced by Jaako himself and presentation and taste is never compromised. We started off with a "Porcini Soup" was absolutely divine.  Next came "social dining": sharing to the max.  "Jaakos favourits platter" and "Nordic Seafood platter" went down a storm as the delicate and evolving flavours settled on the taste buds paired with a lovely Riesling.  The starter was definitely my favourite and all the better for being able to share and enjoy even more flavours!
 
Also to tantalise us we tried the "Roasted Arctic Halibut", "Free-range Chicken" and "Smoke Roasted Rib eye".  Cooked in their huge new wood oven, you can really  feel the tenderness and love they put into their food with every mouth full.
 
A dessert platter to finish with a lovely cup of Camomile and I was in heaven! 
 
I am very excited for FINDS to re-open this month and look forward the revival of my favourite chill out spot!
