September is always most bland month of the year to me (no, there will not be autumn or golden leaves in September in Hong Kong, I ensure you with years of disappointment) but there’s something that can cheer me up – a nice burger and booze!
From 11 September until 30 September, The Butchers Club Burger is extending its happy hour and inviting guests to enjoy $30 pints of Goose Island Craft beer (original price $70) from 5.00 -7.00pm every day – Goose IPA is an Indian pale ale with bright citrus aromas and a bold hop finish; 312 Urban Wheat Ale is a creamy straw coloured pour with a touch of citrus. Both are winners of Great American Beer Festival.
The Michelin-recognised burgers are the perfect match with the craft beer but don’t overlook Red Fire Rooster Wings (HK$50/3 pieces, HK$88/5 pieces).
Maybe September is not too bad after all, at least the bikini season is over so we can stuff ourselves with our favourite food and drink without guilt.
