It is the New Year and with it brings a new look for Solas bar and lounge.

Solas has enjoyed 3 great years, having just celebrated their 3rd year anniversary in November 2009. The nightlife industry can be a fickle one, but with Cathal Kiely, Rory and Ciaran Hussey behind the reins this venue has gone from strength to strength.

Rory Hussey, Director at Solas says “We’ve had an amazing first 3 years on Wyndham St. and we are looking forward to the next phase on this ever changing street. We decided that now would be an opportune time to update Solas and make some improvements that will continue our initial concept of “Light and Comfort”. We want our patrons and good friends to enjoy the newer design, furniture, atmosphere and ambiance. Although, the essence of Solas and the people who make Solas what it is, shall remain the same”

Solas will be closed form the 17th of January till the 28th of January and to celebrate the new renovations Solas will be hosting a relaunch party on the 4th of February.

Happy Hour from Monday to Saturday from open till 9pm, guests can enjoy 30% off their bill and 2 for 1 on all cocktails.

Wednesday – Ladies night from 9pm till late, complimentary Vodka mixers for the ladies, featuring the sounds of DJ Nipper.

Sunday – 2 for 1 all day.
