As a DJ, Dan has played up and down the UK and has recently arrived back from a 3 month tour of Thailand where he held down a residency at the much known and loved “In Bed with Space” party on the Island of Koh Samui. The style in which Dan has adopted can range from deep house, tech house and electro venturing on into the realms of deep, minimal techno. Using his experience and well trained ear for electronic music, Dan has just completed a very successful summer on the island of Ibiza where he has held down residencies at the infamous after parties at Es Vive as well as regularly playing day time grooves at the increasingly popular Delano in Playa D’en Bossa. As the season came to a close Dan secured a residency at Pete Tong’s weekly giant Wonderland at Eden which has welcomed such major players as Luciano, Groove Armada, Timo Mass, Dubfire… the list goes on…

After a few years experience it was decided that a career in music was the only way for Dan as he set out to build the necessary foundations for this future. After completing an ND in Music Technology at Newcastle College he took it one step further and completed the same course at degree level at the Leeds Metropolitan University. With the ground work in place and also a few club residencies under his belt it was time to get serious. Dan began working at LOFT STUDIO'S in Newcastle with two guys called Andrew Archer and John Elliott who are also collectively known as TRAFIK (Global Underground). Being surrounded by a hardworking studio environment Dan began honing his already expansive production and arrangement skills. With guidance from two very experienced established producers the tracks began to flow.

Now at the age of 24 it is time to take things into his own hands. Over the past 18 months Dan has launched and watched grow, his own record label. TRIPTIK has now had 6 very successful releases and has more quality tracks in the pipeline ready to drop, including his own composition “The Window”. Fan’s of the label such as Yousef, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Dresden, Satoshie Tomiie and Jim Rivers to name a few, already have tracks from this rising label on heavy rotation around the world including the soon to be released Niko Fantin "Fire Games" which has just been included in Dave Seaman's "The Masters Series" compilation for Renaissance which is one of the years biggest selling mix albums.
