After opening in early November, Pastis promises to introduce Hong Kong diners to a genuine French bistro experience.

This cosy and cheerily lit restaurant & bar boasts an authentic French atmosphere with leather banquettes, raw wood finishing and antiques flown in from France to create that French bistro feel.

As with the ambience of the venue, the food is not overly complicated, rather it is what authentic French bistro dining should be, simple yet tasty dishes, using quality ingredients.

Be sure to sample the homemade duck rillette or perhaps the Escargot. If you want to get really serious, the Beef Burgundy and the Tiger Prawn Flambée with pastis is not to be missed. Pastis is the first concept from Olivier Caisson and Jerome Spitzer of French Creations. Yet another highlight to this little gem on Wyndham Street is that many of the recipes have been handed down from generation to generation. In order to ensure the authenticity of the food, Jerome Spitzer, Operations Director of Pastis, brought his mother over from France to train his chefs. Spitzer says ‘ Our concept is all about the products and staying true to what French bistro food is all about.’
