Shore Restaurant and Bar first opened its doors at The L Place in September 2010. The 10,000 sq ft split-level venue is bringing nature into a modern chic interior space. The venue houses two zones: an onshore dining place and an offshore main bar and terrace. Onshore is a fine dining area, conceptualized as a natural landscape with contour lines applied to a false ceiling to create a comfortable and relaxing dining environment. Offshore is the main bar and terrace area where an “undersea” theme creates the illusion of a natural seascape for all the bustling action.
Shore Steak, the dining room on the fourth floor, specializes in prime steaks including dry-aged ‘meat on the bone’ from Australia, and prime cuts from the USA, Canada and Argentina. Dedicated carnivores should ask for the “Meat Bible” detailing a wide variety of choice cuts from each of the world’s most prestigious meat producing countries.
The cool ‘underwater’ bar on the third floor serves one of the most exciting drinks menus in town, including fine wines, premium champagnes and exotic cocktails. It’s not just cocktails that are attended to by expert mixologists: mixing the decks from Thursday to Saturday evenings is DJ Re:Flex, aka Roger A. De Leon, who has rocked parties all over Asia. His cross genre sets are funky, provocative, unpredictable and original.
Shore’s spacious 1,800 sq ft outdoor terrace, which incorporates very large and extremely comfortable sofas, is ideal for al fresco cocktails or champagne with friends, casual lunches or corporate parties, and is bathed in a spectacular kaleidoscope of color after dark.
