Exotic new 'Zuma Zhooters' are on the menu at dynamic Japanese restaurant and trendy nightspot zuma at The Landmark, with happy-hour shooters at just HK$20.
The exotic shots with freshly made flavours are priced down from HK$60 to HK$20 from 10pm-12am every Thursday, Friday and Saturday when live DJs perform at Hong Kong’s newest late night hotspot.
Creative new flavours on the menu include The “Hallas”, blending absinth with apple and lemon, and Liquid Courage layering black and white sambuca with Drambuie.
Vodka cocktail shots include Mini Russian, with raspberries and 42 Below sparkled with prosecco; Doo Doo highlighting olive drowned with 42 Below, lemon and spiced with Tabasco; and Black Bison, mixing Absolut Vanilla with apple and lime.
Three Japanese-style 'Zhooters' feature Horizon, blending shochu and plum sake with pineapple, blood orange and a drop of griottine; Kame Ka Yuzu, concocted from sour yuzu shaken with 42 Below vodka and yuzu shochu; and Shogun, shaking Midori and shochu with honey melon and pineapple.
Jagermeister and cinnamon schnapps are also shaken with apple for The Junk.
The vibrant venue has just celebrated its second anniversary, launching a new Central nightspot at its 6th floor lounge, with extended late-night opening hours, state-of-the-art sound system and a funky re-design.
Resident DJs and Hong Kong favourites, DJ May Acuna and DJ Tai Pan Dan, perform from Thursday to Saturday, with international guest DJs making appearances.
DJ May Acuna, a.k.a. DJ Mayhem, is one of Hong Kong’s unique female DJs with an enthusiasm for deep house music featuring funky basslines that make the crowds want to get up and dance. Her skills and memorable sounds have rocked crowds all over Hong Kong and China.
Meanwhile DJ Tai Pan Dan’s passion for soulful house is influenced by his work at clubs spanning the globe from London and Europe to Sydney and
Hong Kong. His talents have even earned him credit for working with famous DJs and Producers such as Fatboy Slim and the Chemical Brothers. Dan’s versatility allows him to work with any genre with a guarantee to be a crowd pleaser.
Themed 'zuma Parties' are also on the calendar with last orders extending until 2.00am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The lounge’s cool party vibe extends to an outside terrace overlooking Central.
The new concept is inspired by the success of zuma Dubai, which has become one of the hottest nightspots in the Middle East and was listed on Conde Nast Traveler’s Hot List of New Night Spots worldwide.

I was at Zuma lounge last weekend for a friends birthday. Great ambiance and fantastic service. Nice and cosy with soulful house playing whilst a big bunch of us chatted and drank. I highly recommend going there for a few drinks any night of the week and I'll definitely be heading back myself!
