Description

Give Me Clean Air Cocktail Event at Box Thai

Clean Air Network (CAN) and Box Thai are hosting Cocktail Event ‘Give Me Clean Air’, in association with AsiaSpa on Tuesday 24th of November, 2009 at 7pm. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about air pollution in Hong Kong. CANs mission as an environmental NGO is to educate and mobilize the Hong Kong public about the adverse health impacts of air pollution.

The timing of the event is deliberately set to coincide with the government’s public consultation on Air Quality Objectives (AQOs). The AQOs have not been revised since 1987 and the consultation period ends on the 30th of November, making it essential to get the petition signed to make a difference for our future.

Members of the press are invited to attend.
