Artists' biography and links:

DJ Jad

Jad’s relationship with music began at a young age with making hip-hop mixtapes.

It was in 1998 during the UK influenced US progressive house boom that Jad picked up his first set of turntables.

The Sasha and Digweed sets at NYCs’ legendary TWILO super club were the benchmark and the following few years saw Jad developing “His sound” playing at remote parties throughout Boston, NYC and Montreal alongside the cities best local DJs, picking up Deep House, Tech-House, breakbeat, and dnb influences along the way.

In 2004, Jad had relocated to Dubai, landing a weekly residency at club iBO playing alongside a variety of international DJ acts and in 2006 was in charge of Dubai’s most successful DEEP Nights club concept at club Trilogy with weekly lineups featuring superstar mainstream DJ’s such as John Digweed, Erick Morillo, Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, James Zabiela, Tom Novy and Felix the Housecat to name a few.

Today, Jad is based in France but continues to travel between North America, Europe and the Middle East searching for new sounds, new artists, new influences and new opportunities to perform and share his passion for dance music."
