Kings of Convenience Live in Hong Kong

Norwegian indie folk-pop duo Kings of Convenience are coming to Hong Kong for the first time on March 25th

With their seamless voices and delicate lush lyrics, indie-pop duo Eirik Glambek Bøe and Erlend Øye are Kings of Convenience. They were thrust into the public eye in 2001 with a magnificent debut album" Quiet is the New Loud" which sold more than 200,000 copies worldwide, garnered strong reviews and a cult following. After a 5 year break they are touring the world in support of their acclaimed album Declaration of Dependence . Kings of Convenience is credited for spearheading the New Acoustic Movement. They are Norway's answers to Simon and Garfunkel.

Renowned for their captivating live shows the duo have played to sold-out concerts around the world. Tickets to the Mosaic Festival in Singapore this year sold out in less than a week.

This is Kings of Convenience's first tour to Asia, and the stage is set for a night of acoustic guitars, piano melodies, twin vocal harmonies, and the melancholic songs that go straight to the heart.

成員Eirik Glambek Bøe與Erlend Øye憑藉他們的聲音和微妙的歌詞組成了Kings of Convenience。他們更於2001年憑首張專輯“Quiet is the New Loud”而得到全球銷量超過20萬張的驕人成績，獲得各界注視，他們也因其獨特、清雅和溫婉的Folk-Pop歌曲，被灌以「21世紀Simon & Garfunkel」之稱。 到2009年，Kings of Convenience第三張專輯亦隨著其巡迴演唱會相繼推出，延續New Acoustic樂潮。

兩人享譽世界的迷人二重唱，令其演唱會在世界各地出現場場爆滿的結果。如今年Mosaic Festival的門票，在新加坡不足一星期便已全部售罊。
