Sixties mania comes to Hong Kong

Pull out the black eyeliner, your crochet mini and those drainpipe pants! REMEMBERING THE SIXTIES – a musical tribute to the fabulous swingin’ 60’s - is coming to Hong Kong.

REMEMBERING THE SIXTIES opens at the McAulay Theatre on April 8th, 2010 for a strictly limited season.

This all-singing, all-dancing musical takes you on a rip roaring journey through the fabulous 1960's. The dynamic talented cast will take you on a trip down memory lane with a salute to musicians, bands,  theatre and films from the decade – including songs from The Beatles, Petula Clark, Tom Jones, The Supremes and Burt Bacharach. This show pulls out all the stops, blasting off with multi media footage of the first moon landing. As the 8 performers sing, act and deliver punchlines about Engelbert Humperdinck’s sideburns with professional aplomb – no easy feat wearing skintight red trousers and a frilled white shirt - you will be taken back to a time when ‘love will guide the stars’. Whether you lived it, or wish you had, REMEMBERING THE SIXTIES is a great night out for one and all.
