But there are other companies where people are convinced that the creation of a product itself makes so much fun and brings joy to everyone. Waldhaus (Brewery of Ed Hardy Beer) is definitely small. Surrounded by the Black Forest mountains and forests about 30 workers meet each other in Waldhaus every day. Like a big family gathering there is only one thing they talk about: Making another unique Ed Hardy beer. Inside the sacred halls of the brewery they only have one aim: creating a product which is known as the best kept secret in the mountains.

Some collect precious stamps, some collect antiques. Waldhaus (Brewery of Ed Hardy Beer ) has an other passion. For many years it has collected as well national as international honours and rewards. Take the Waldhaus Diplom Pils: During the years 2000 up to 2010 the Waldhaus Diplom Pils had received the golden DLG award in continuation – no other Pils worldwide achieved that. In 2008 Waldhaus Diplom Pils won the World Beer Awards in the USA two years in continuation. Furthermore the same beer won the “World beer awards 2009” in Great Britain with the title “World´s best Pilsner”. And even the “Australien International Beer Award” priced the “Diplom Pils” in 2010. Of course all the Ed Hardy beers are brewed under the strict law of the “German purity law” (Reinheitsgebot - water,malt,yeast and hops). The Waldhaus (Ed Hardy Beer Brewery) masters of brewing stand for even more than just using the most precious ingredients for their beers. That is the reason why Ed Hardy beers are exclusively brewed with natural hops. Natural hops is a luxury in itself, a noble ingredient which is nowadays only used by 2% of all German breweries. This leads to the following result: Ed Hardy is not an all day beer take, but something for special moments.

The Ed Hardy beers are being produced exclusively by natural power ressources - for a logical consequence of creation. Ed Hardy Beer uses 100% regenerative power which is won through water power along the River Rhine and in the Black Forest. Therefore 275 tons of ecologically harmful carbon monoxyde can be saved to conserve the beautiful environment.

The Waldhaus (Brewery of Ed Hardy Beer) has been founded in 1833 and produces around 5.000.000 liters a year. About 30 people work for Waldhaus which is counted one of the rather smaller breweries in Germany. Waldhaus proves day by day that small regional trades are successful on a shrinking beer market because of their consequent, authentic and fair philosophy.
