The ‘Eat. Sleep. Pita. Repeat.’ menu is available at the cosy Gough Street restaurant from 12 noon – 3pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Guests can combine three elements; A choice of homemade pita or salad; with a sweet treat; and additional refreshment; from HK$140, or priced individually from HK$95-105.
Chef Corey uses the freshest local produce and Middle Eastern cooking techniques to serve up a plentiful mix of delicious pitas. Taste the spices of Africa in the Golden Spiced Chicken with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and ginger, served in two pita halves with zhoug labneh, and fried almonds; the Crispy Salmon filling is mixed with Middle Eastern dressings of walnut tarator, and tahini yoghurt; and the Salt baked lamb pita, is stuffed with an iceberg and feta salad, and beetroot labneh. Vegetarian and vegan fillings include Falafel, tahini, hummus and pickles and Harissa chickpeas, with pistachio dressing, and a cucumber salad.
Guests wanting a lighter choice can opt for a salad of Blackened squid, and giant couscous, or the already popular Heirloom tomato fattoush. To follow, a selection of homemade cakes are available on rotation, with guests choosing from Lemon & Saffron, Chocolate Tahini, Chocolate Rose, Vanilla & Almond, and White Chocolate & Orange Blossom.
Topping off the lunch combo set, a choice of espresso coffee; BEDU’s Naenae tea, served hot or cold; or selected specials such as Homemade lemonade with orange blossom and mint are included in the price.
Dine in BEDU’s relaxed restaurant space, featuring a welcoming bar, and semi-open kitchen overlooking the main dining area. Alternatively, all lunch items are available for takeaway, with a 10% Go Green discount for those who bring their own container.
