Carla Bruni – Comme Si De Rien N’Ȇtait
A beautiful album for anyone hopeless romantic, whether you understand French or not.  The cute and cheerful beginning, “Ma Jeunesse”, is a great appeitiser of Carla Bruni’s undeniably sexy voice.  “Tu Es Ma Came” has a fantastic acoustic start before the drums and keyboards chip in to really fill out the song.  With a  1920”s Parisian feel I could imagine “Le Temps Perdu” filling a French lounge as women in long gloves smoke elegantly from their cigarette holders listening on.  Call me desperately romantic, but I thought Comme Si De Rien N’Ȇtait was great.
