Coldplay live in Hong Kong

Coldplay will be performing in Hong Kong as part of the Viva La Vida tour on Wednesday, March 25th, 2009. This will be the second time that Coldplay is playing in Hong Kong with a sold-out show here previously. Tickets will go on sale on February 17.
 
After surfacing in 2000 with the breakthrough single "Yellow," Coldplay quickly became one of the biggest bands of the new millennium. The band’s current album “Viva La Vida” is the most commercially successful rock album released in this decade.

Sweeping away 3 major awards at the 51st Grammy Awards, Coldplay picked up Best Rock Album, Song Of The Year (Viva La Vida), Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals. The band is also leading at the 2009 BRITS Awards with nominations including British Album, British Group, British Live Act, British single (Viva La Vida).

Coldplay will be performing a one night only show in Hong Kong with limited tickets available, this is definitely the concert of the year not to be missed!

MERCURY REV was formed in Buffalo, New York in the late 1980's. Consistently driven by Jonathan Donahue (vocals/guitar), Grasshopper aka Sean Mackowiak (guitar), Jeff Mercel (drums & keyboards) with Dave Fridmann (bass, engineering & production), Carlos Anthony Molina (bass).
