Good Evening from a drizzly London ...
just a quick question. i am traveling to HK on business for the first time and wanted to try out a couple of clubs whilst out there ... can't be all work no play, right?
what's the story on the dress code out there? i am used to frequenting a pretty chilled out scene in North London where most anything goes.
are things a little more formal out in HK? for some reason, i get that impression!? as an example, are more formal shoes a prerequisite as opposed to trainers etc??
cheers

If you want to try your luck at clubs such as Volar,Dragon i, Drop, Jewel, Backroom (all in Lan Kwai Fong) then i would advise you to dress smartyl, eg. no trainers or jeans. Wan chai bars and cluibs have no dress code whatsoever, same with causeway bay.
