Friendly Fires – Friendly Fires
For a debut album produced almost entirely in a household garage, this trio from St Albans has produced a pretty decent debut album. Filled with funky beats, rocking guitars and seductive synth’s, this album is sure to get a party going. I don’t know why, but it almost takes me back to late 80’s or early 90’s. I have to say the opening track didn’t inspire me, but there’s a real energy in “On Board” and “White Diamonds” that would fill any indie dance floor. Overall, a fun and beat-packed album that would interest any Britpop-tastic music listener.
