Hi - posted this elsewhere but want to hedge my bets....
Hello - my name is Rich, I'm 27 and based in Newcastle UK.....I'm a house DJ with 6 years experience and play house across the board - US/UK/tribal/deep/tech/funky/prog/jackin/electro
Basically I was wondering how I could get DJ gigs overseas, in particular Hong Kong....my brother went there recently and said there were loads of DJs, and they all enjoy playing in Hong Kong
Personally I've never been but it looks pretty amazing...
So - could anyone help me out here and give me some ideas?
In the meantime I'll go check out the rest of the site....thanks in advance for any help or suggestions

best is to pay your way here and then if you get some gigs then you may be paid to fly back
Very dificullt not easy as nicknak said... Because all the clubs in Hong Kong has allready there residents you will have to play a set for almost free to 100EURO to get your ways to start. Good Luck :smt001

worse yet a lot of clubs in hkg dun play any of the stuff u play man, they prefer , hip hop, commercial or remixes of shania twain!... might be better to try in places like Malaysia where u might not make as much but u save heaps cos its so much cheaper.... china is another up and coming party country , just the communism thing is a bit .... either way thats my two cents....
