Apologies for the paranoia, I haven't called the number yet, but how do advance tickets normally work in HK? Do you pay over the phone and collect the ticket from the venue? Do you get sent an e-ticket? Or you actually have to go somewhere to buy the ticket in person?

Nik,

Based on your contacts in the industry, do you know what is happening with this event? Is it at Cixi or PP; the Cixi Barman couldn't confirm it was Cixi when I spoke to him a couple of days ago. And the promoter for the event, as per the advertised number doesn't appear to be reachable. Have tried countless times and sent a text, but it doesn't appear to be switched on.
