PATRICK HAGENAAR

With DJ gigs across the globe , a weekly worldwide radio show and the world's biggest DJ's using his tracks and remixes as their floor destroyers, alongside chart topping productions released on major labels around the world, Patrick Hagenaar is a fast rising Dutch star that can’t seem to do wrong!"

Back in 1999, Patrick moved to London to start off his DJ career instantly grabbing both promoters and clubbers' attention by rocking the London club scene.
Since then, Patrick has won the Dutch 'Upcoming DJ Award' ('02), was chosen by Pioneer as their 'Star DJ of the Month' ('05) and became runner-up at Hed Kandi's Resident DJ competition ('05).

In 2006, Ministry of Sound recognised his talents and selected Patrick to become their resident tour DJ, taking him to every corner of the globe throughout Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

In September 2007, UK Mobile operator O2 approached Patrick to participate in a project that no DJ in the world has ever attempted before and on the 22nd December mixed a live dj-set on two mobile phones @ The Ministry of Sound, which you can see the results of on youtube.

Whilst already being a well established DJ, Patrick decided in early 2008 it was about time to show the world his productions skills and teamed up with Alistair Albrecht as 'Hagenaar & Albrecht' and went onto produce the No1 House track ‘What Would we Do’.
Patrick's debut solo release 'Criminal', feat. Cozi Costi (of 'Baby When The Lights Go Out' fame), also made a heavy impact - getting released across 10 countries around the world.
Later that year, 'Wak Ass' was selected by DJ Mag as their 'Dancefloor Destroyer of the Month' and was both remixed and released by the Shapeshifters.

2009 brought a wealth of solo productions, high profile remixes and H&A's follow up track ‘In & Out’, again topping the download charts receiving rave reviews and support from the DJ Elite. With three H&A productions in the top 10 and Patrick's 'In Da Ass' hitting the Top 5 in the Dutch Dance chart - booking requests continued flooding in from across the world.

In 2010, H&A had caught the eye of Atlantic Records US and were commisioned to remix six-time Grammy award winner ‘Toni Braxton’ and ‘Wynter Gordon’s No1 single 'Dirty Talk' .
This new relationship paved the way for H&A with a follow up production ‘Won’t Let You Down’, which was chosen by UK's most influential pop blog 'Pop Justice' as their 'Track of the Day' and got bootlegged by no other than Axwell!
Patrick's solo releases also went from strength to strength with 'Part Of Me' being named 'Download of the week' by Roger Sanchez and has since featured on major compilations.

2011 so far has had H&A remix Ke$ha's No1 record 'We R Who We R' and high profile tracks for Ministry of Sound, EMI and Sony. Patrick's 'We Feel the Same', peaked at No2 in the UK Club Chart whilst his forthcoming record 'LOVE' is tipped off to become one of the most hyped records for ADE 2011 with already gaining support from DJ's like David Guetta, TV Rock & mark Knight.

Besides his productions, Patrick is also rapidly becoming renowned for his signature mashups and edits, which are a firm favourite with the DJ Elite and continuous to establish him across the music industry worldwide.

With new releases forthcoming on the world’s hottest dance labels and Patrick's touring schedule showing no sign of slowing down, 2012 is set to propel the flying Dutchman to the major league!
