What happens when you mix a little bit of French feline with talent, flair & a unique sound of her own? What happens when you mix electro with pumping beats, a dash of techno, & a sprinkling of rock? One name says it all. MISS KITTIN (aka Caroline Herve).
Producing & spinning with long-time recording partner, Michel Amato (aka The Hacker), Miss Kittin has risen above the xxxxx to the top of the international music/club scene. Signed to DJ Hell’s label - International Deejay Gigolos, their first collaborative effort was the cultlish "Frank Sinatra", which was a bit hit during the electroclash era. The Hacker’s raw electronic sound & Miss Kittin’s lyrical style created their own unique playground and they went on to produce remixes for various artists. Miss Kittin went on to collaborate on projects with renowned artists such as Golden Boy, Felix Da Housecat, Sven Vath, Frank Mueller, Takkyu Ishino, etc.
Firmly establishing her place in the constantly evolving electro scene, Miss Kittin recently released her debut solo album, ‘I Com’, which was co-produced by Tobi Neumann & Thies Mynther (aka GLOVE). Featuring huge tracks such as “Professional Distortionâ€

ASOT wrote:Sorry but any organiser expecting ppl to pay 350 for miss kittin must be seriously brain damaged. Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Lottie yes, Miss Kittin? HELL NO!
some people will still pay to see her. guess what, some would pay a lot to see djs like tiesto, pvd, armin. im quite sure you would pay 350 to see armin since your name is asot. but a lot of people wouldnt pay that price to see those 'superstars'. its all about personal preference. hell i wouldnt pay 350 to see lisa lashes and lottie. id think about lisa if she smokes less c$$$$ and each put up good sets all the time instead of having anne savage or tidygirls spinning for her when shes too f-ucked. anyway.. im getting carried away.

Personally, I m not into the French scene and I cant judge the lil lady since I ve never scene her work or her set. But I would be happy to dish up to a 1400 HK dollars for infected to comeover to HK. Yes many would, say I know nothing of HK prices, sure It must be because I am still thinking in British pounds and but if I m willing to pay it there why not here too... Sure I would rather pay much much less... But if that is what it would cost to comply more great artists of any kind of music... well I m game...

If ppl cant fill up HITEC for Marco V or Christopher Lawrence then what makes you think they will be able to do it for Miss Kitten? would mean tickets would prolly be even more expensive

Well maybe the clubbers here prefer women DJ's and prefer french people... God knows really.
The world is truly upside down.... Think old warner brother cartoons when bugs dug a hole so deep, he got to the other side and the world was upside down.... Maybe the laws of physics and taste are different too... God knows....

what i mean is just partying at volar doesnt worth $350
cuz they dont have a nice dance floor. it's more like a chill out place than a party venue.
last time i pay $200 for westbam at Volar and i think it didnt worth too.

Well, to get around that you sell early-bird tickets at half price and masacre the punters on the door... simple mathmatics...
Example: Stage 1: 70HKD early bird 50 TICKETS
Stage 2: 100hkd also for 50
Stage 3: On the door you make a killing of maybe up to 250.
But one only makes a killing if the event is already rather packed....
Up to the venue owner and the contract with the DJ's and to see who is getting what really....

$350 is a high price to pay but Volar doesnt do much walk in business... They're booked up to its max on weekends... Mainly members anyways...
But hey if you want to see Miss Kitten then $350 is the magic number or go with friends who are members....
PS.. Hong Kong is an expensive city... live with it!
... why has there been so much complaining on the forums lately???
