DJ BIOGRAPHY

Q'hey (real name : Masaya Kyuhei)

The owner of hard techno label â€˜Moon Age Recordingsâ€™, as well as the
main organizer of the monthly party â€˜REBOOTâ€™ at worldly renowned club
Maniac Love in Tokyo. Q'hey, who started Djing in 1989, has always been
leading the scene of Tokyo, and is in the forefront of the Tokyo techno
scene. With the support of loyal fans, he is one of the djs who is always in
demand for large domestic music festivals as well as for various club
events.

From 1995, Q'hey begun to focus on producing. In 1998, after a few
releases from several prominent lables, he started his own label: â€˜Moon Age
Recordingsâ€™ - "Moon Age" is his party, resident DJs are Q'hey and DJ
Shufflemaster. His releases are charted on play lists of big DJs like Sven
Vath and Marco Bailey. He also reviews DJ equipment for music magazines.
With his extensive knowledge of Dj/production equipment, he even got
involved in the development of MC-505 and MC-909 for Roland.

He has been invited to DJing in countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong,
Singapore, Malaysia, Belgium, Spain, Luxemburg, Germany, France, Holland and
Poland. Q'hey will be collaborating and producing with various world class
artists/producers that he has met in the countries mentioned. Already
released his tune "Storm Easy" from one of the most inportant techno label
"Pornographic Recordings" owned by Marco Bailey and Cristian Varela 2002,
"Don Quijote" by Q'hey vs Marco Bailey for "Space Invaders" album 2003 and
"From Tokyo to Brussels EP" released from MB Elektronics 2004. And another
project Q-Ram (Q'hey & Ramon Zenker) has just started.

Techno is also my fav other than Trance, keep it up...BTW, Ken Ishii is a kick ass DJ for playin Techno..i saw him once in Melbourne
