Went here on Sat night, was impressed. Venue was no where near as cool as Phi-B but the music was great, bit of old skool hip hop action. They even played KLF! Rockin. But then the music changed dramatically without warning into kylie and some sad RnB. Shame as I figured the White Label guys knew what they were doing.

Still, great to have a new place with a top crowd to call home and will definitely be going back.

Ah yes - the night you came down there was a large birthday party, with thier own DJ. That was the first & last time Kylie and noncey R&B get played in the bar.

As a matter of fact White Label (actually they\'ll be playing under the Red Label banner at yumla) were postponed from that night

Werd....finally a kick ass bar. Great music, which varies throughout the week for people with different tastes.....but for the most part the crowd tends to be really rowdy, vibrant, and non-pretentious - all about having a great time..........also, the fact that you got Dan F up in dat piece you know the music is gonna be doooooooope. Def give it a try if your into the music, gettin plastered, having a great time as opposed to trying to look all pretty, getting noticed, i.e. the whole superficial thing (not that there is anything wrong with that ;) .

This place is home to many a groover including myself. The crowd and the music are the things that keep us coming back. No pretention. Just good tunes and great people.

And the new garden outside is fab for late night chats, cooling off and chatting up someone cute.

possibly the coolest spot i\'ve seen here in terms of the crowd and not coincidentally music. hipster not like dress up in the same sh*t that you might wear to work kind of way, ie trucker caps not suits. young urban music savvy crowd, reminds me of nyc/LES/e.vill... more of a bar than club due to layout, would have more of a lounge feel, but lack of space to lounge and lighting needs work...

Yumla is one of the very few venues in Hong Kong where it's all about music! Gotta love that! :D
