LIQUID A started DJ’ing in 2004 at the age of 19. Her first gigs were at dodgy, hole-in-the-wall bars around Manila, playing mostly for fun since being female and playing drum and bass was unheard of in the local scene.

It was in 2006 when she scored her first big gig at the now defunct Manila DJ Club after crossing paths with Manila’s drum and bass mad scientist, Kishore Ramnani. Together they formed the creative collective, Nomad Technology which houses some of the wildest minds in the electronica music circuit.

Since then she’s played around the Philippines and held residencies in a few popular bars around the Metro. She has also played along side some of the most sought after DJ’s and live bands in the country. Nyko Maca + Playground, Lady I, Radioactive Sago Project & Kadangyan to name a few…

Definitely a music junkie, some of her influences include Al Greene, Bill Withers, Bobby Caldwell, Michael Jackson, The Doobie Brothers, The Police, Jamiroquai… the list goes on and on… and on…

The Heavy Crew rise from the ashes to once again bring you underground sounds of bass destruction. Keeping it hard, deep, tech , jump up and most of all Heavy. Formed almost 4 years ago on a mission to bring the other side of the spectrum to the hk dnb scene and promote local talents, the nights started in local bars before progressing to busy club nights proving that Hong Kong was ready for the Heavy sound.
2 years ago Heavy started Hong Kong 1st monthly Dubstep night and released Heavy Mixtape 1.1 it features only production from Hong Kong and Macau Artists .which has played in radio in Sinagpore , Thailand and China
