pop music - 90s and 00s

hey everyone

from the uk and i miss my pop music!

any suggestions on bars and clubs that play this kind of music?

only places i know are stormies and mes amis...

i like the typical stuff you'd find in a university nightclub/student night in a public nightclub, e.g. better off alone alice deejay, 9pm atb, heaven dj sammy, eiffel 65 blue, it's my life bon jovi, one love blue, ...list is endless!!

news to me - all i seem to hear is hip hop and what i think must be what they call garage and house...

they don't seem to have school disco nights in hk...

Even though there are universities in hk, hk is not like the uk where they have a universities 'school disco' night.

You get the occasional one here and there, but nothing every week. The venues mentioned play the music you are loooking for but does not have the atmosphere you are probably looking for and crowd.

They don't play hip hop here unless you request a song, and even then you might be disappointed for two reasons:

Its the techno/euro version of the song.

they just won't have it.

They usually play pop/euro songs featuring so called "rap stars". Seriously its usually the stuff you just listed..plus ridiculous repeats of david guetta.
