The Hold Steady – Stay Positive
Stay Positive is the band’s fourth album.  Described as “punk-rock evangelism”, The Hold Steady’s have had impressive track record.  “Stay positive” has the usual heavy guitars, intentional piano portions, random musical instruments and growling lyrics that made them so popular.  Unless you are a veteran fan of Hold Steady the album takes a few listens before it comes into its own.  If you’re going to listen to one songs then make it “Lord, I am discouraged”, it’s a stand out track from the other guitar thrashing tracks that will really make you stop and listen.
