Queen Sea Big Shark formed in late 2004 and quickly became one of the most watched bands in Beijing scene. They held their first gig in May 2005 and the audiences were immediately fascinated with their infectious dance rock sound. The lead singer, Fun Han swivels on stage in a spectacularly mirrored dress that makes her look like a cross between a mermaid and a disco ball. Their stage act displays a ferocious discipline that consists of Cao Pu?s guitar backed by an incredibly tight rhythm section. All of this control anchors the band in a way that throws singer Fu Han?s out-of-control gyrations and frantic singing into sharp relief. Fu Han?s spectacular stage presence is at the heart of the band?s power and makes their live act one of the best in China. The band had supported the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Maximo Park and Mando Diao in China. The band?s self-titled debut album released in Jan under Modern Sky Records. Crazy Young Master is delighted to invite the band to join Beijing Explosion 3 and they are ready to rock HK for the first time at the Fringe Club on 4th Apr (Friday).
