M1D1 is a Drummer, DJ, Producer, engineer and co founder of the m.i.a. (a 25+ dj collective with chapters all over the usa) M1D1 got his start in the early 90's rave scene as a dj and promoter with RIPE productions (one of americas 1st junglist promoters) and went on to be one of chicagos busiest producers starting combat records and releasing 20+ dark drum n bass tunes including his remixes of submerged and psidream on combat records. In 2006 m1d1 and de la mota founded the "Murda In America" dj collective when they noticed the lack of harder drum n bass being represented in chicago and set out to add new sounds to the local scene. Currently m.i.a. has chapters in 10 cities across america and are spreading fast. M1D1 is currently on tour promoting his digital LP "Musical instrument digital interface" or MIDI. you can book his tour here.
