If you really have to go to an event get on the guestlist somewhere and go witha bunch of folks and you might stand a betetr chance... there are bound to be events that you might get in if they start early-ish.
(Note to all: Under no circumstances am I condoning that the member I am conversting to should break any kind of law. She would be doing it under her accord or free will)

whats wrong being materialistic :smt019 who doesnt like money, spending big provides me the motivation to work even harder and improve
What is money, when you have no friends pr health? How would you feel if your partner or current partner was only with because she or was being materialistic? Spending big means more debt and a vicious circle that makes you not have control of your life.

I think I got some of them.... even i was born here in HK:
I go to Chinese restaurants to yum cha seldomly.
My backpack weighed more than 40 pounds since primary school.
Your regular slang includes: pk and dnlm.
(Sorry, I only use the slang pK in Chemistry --- meaning - log k... LOL And I am not the one who speak these slang)
I love the number "8" (bak), definitely
I had a pager before but thrown years ago.
I call your secondary male teachers AH-SIR.
I call your secondary female teachers MISSE, not MISSY !?
I had at least one nick name throughout your primary and secondary school.
I am proud of your nationality - BDTC/BNO.
I know what "Form One Jai" means.
I don't call lottery as "lotto." I call it "Mark Six" instead.
I pretend you know Mandarin even though you DON'T.
You tip only 10% in Hong Kong. (No, I only tip $1 here)
I know what this means: hem ga chan. But I won't say it... foul language
I don't know much about the "Basic Law."
I love to gossip about Western entertainment ONLY
I want, but I never "french kiss" in the public.
12am is too early for you to sleep, sure!
I never study until the day before the quiz.
I play badminton.
I drink vita soy drink every morninh
I don't wear shorts in summers.
You never order appetizers at a restaurant, what's that?
My Chinese handwriting really sucks.
If someone buys ANYTHING, you brag about how its cheaper in Hong Kong.
I've bragged about the Hong Kong airport at least once.
I call bus "bah see."
I call cheese "chee see."
I call Mercedes Benz cars "Benz- see."
