The Scottish band Mogwai will be in Hong Kong on the 18th January 2009 for one night only at the music venue Hitec. Once again this concert will be free standing which is really how every live music event should be.

The Ting Tings will perform their first show of 2009 in Singapore on January 13th before headlining Big Day Out 2009 in Australia.

On February 3rd 2009, UK dance act The Prodigy will hit the stage for their first ever full fledge concert in Singapore.

Nightlife / Events  aqua spirit is the venue for one of Hong Kong’s hottest late-night dance floors, with themed weekly after-dinner beats mixed by leading DJs.
 
Every Wednesday DJ Raz aka presents aqualectric, a blend of electric funk, soul, percussive world grooves 10.30pm til late. Thursday nights are devoted to the Bollywood dance music of modern India, DJ Raz spinning desi, club, Banghra and urban beats from 11pm– 2am.   DJ Karen- Budweiser Dj Champion spinning vocal house and progressive house every Friday night 11pm - 2am. Saturday nights from 11pm-2am feature all-star female DJ Line-up with ‘PentHouse’.  DJs Tynee, Dolly, May and Carly Shemoss will be playing the finest House above the Harbour.

‘Pure House’ continue on the 5th Floor of Beijing Club, with a great line-up during December. The music continues in December with DJ Tynee & DJ Arun R on the 12th and 26th respectively.

As the winter creeps into Hong Kong, all we want to do is warm up and bundle together.  And what better way to do it than at Pure House, surrounded by the warm and friendly vibes of Beijing Club’s 5th Floor, and an all-star DJ line-up to finish up a great year of house music in Hong Kong.

On 20th December 2008 (Sat) one half of the Defected duo known as Copyright from the UK will be back in Hong Kong spinning uplifting vocal house at Dragon-I. Door Charge is $300.

For this new year's eve, we've been lucky enough to bring together most of Hong Kong's top DJs - and this is the first time that an event of this scale has been organised in the city. We've got 13 DJs, from different crews and playing different sounds, and any rivalries will be put aside for this final night of 2008 and the final night at Heat.

We can accommodate so many DJs because we will also be putting in a second sound system downstairs, allowing us to have two separate areas playing contrasting styles of music (techno/electo upstairs and breakbeat/drum n bass downstairs). This will also broaden the appeal of the event overall.

Club JJ’s is proud to present an exclusive performance by Francesca De Valence, in celebration of the International Songwriter of the Year 2008 award honoured during the LA Music Awards. Francesca will take the stage of Music Room to new heights with her celebrated musical masterpieces in an intimate yet emotional-driven voice for one night only.

The exclusive VIP bar & lounge known as Vertigo Ultralounge has now officially opened. On the 28th August, the lounge hosted its Grand Opening Party. The party was a great success with invite only guests filling the main room as well as live music going on late into the night.
