Gin is becoming very popular in Hong Kong with even some Gin dedicated festivals happening in 2019. But before the festivals arrived there was already a number of great gin bars in the city to choose from.
The beer which is over 50 years old now has a new bottle and glass for all to enjoy a nice cold one. The beer is tasty as ever, the difference is the presentation with a nice new slicker bottle and glass.
This new design is the first since 2005 and also includes a touch up on their logo too.

HOMESLICE has been open for a while now and when we usually walk by we think of the pizzas, but also they have a great selection of cocktails on offer and we can’t think of that many places in the close area where they are located.
The one that got our interest first is gin cocktail of course, called London’s Calling at HK$90. This cocktail includes gin, ale, lemon and sweet ginger.
Allta (Scots Gaelic for ‘wild’ and pronounced ‘al-ta’ apparently), as we have been told is the first whisky created from yeast growing wild on Glenmorangie’s own barley and is their rich, fruity tenth release.
After visiting Scotland and some of their most famous distilleries I do have a better idea of what goes into the whisky made there, from the ingredients, the environment and of course the passion toward the art.
