Featuring six sweets and five savories, Club @28 Citrus Brightening Afternoon Tea Set for two (Monday to Friday $418 for two persons; Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday $448 for two persons) is served daily from 2:30pm until 5:00pm. The citrus themed delights includes Honey Yuzu Mousse Cake with Pomegranate, Molten Yuzu Cake, Lime Cheese Tart with a balanced taste of sour and sweet, luscious Almond Chocolate Truffle and Blood Orange Bar combining sweet taste and crunchy texture, and the girls’ all-time favorite English Raisin Scones with Orange Preserves and Clotted Cream.
The delectable citrus savories include Deep-fried Beer Battered Prawn with Grapefruit Honey and Seared French Duck Liver with Pomelo Truffle Pâté. Served with grapefruit honey, the crispy prawn is packed with a variety of flavors and the truffle sauce with a hint of citrus added a surprising aroma to seared duck liver. The acclaimed chef brings the spirit of his home country to the heart of Hong Kong
Virgilio Martinez Véliz, the celebrated chef behind the award-winning Central restaurant in Lima, Peru, has launched ICHU Peru in H Queen’s. Located in the heart of Hong Kong, ICHU serves contemporary Peruvian cuisine in a modern, bistro-style setting. “Our intention is to replicate the atmosphere of Lima’s local cevicherias,” explains Martinez.
“We want to honour Peru’s no-fuss dining culture where the atmosphere is relaxed, the dishes are shared and the recipes highlight fresh ingredients and traditional flavours.”
