Meaning “toasted bread” in French, the name “le pain grillé” is delicately selected by French fashion designer Agnès herself. The name speaks for itself, signifying the chic, cozy but delicate and enjoyable dining place. Integrating the concepts of French café, bistro and restaurant, le pain grillé serves the most signature French gourmet in just a single stop. Agnès b. considers dining culture as another important part of one’s lifestyle. The cozy café gives Hong Kong people who never been to France the opportunity to experience a real French café, while for those who had visited France to rediscover the French authenticity locally. People can enjoy French food and drinks amidst French ambience and atmosphere without the need of taking a plane abroad.

The award-winning Avenue Restaurant and Bar (1st Floor) brings modern European cuisine to Hong Kong.
The restaurant’s smart and casual interior provides the perfect backdrop for both Hong Kong’s modern trend setters and the modern European cuisine prepared by the team of talented chefs. Food that is “right across the board” brings a combination of the wealth of produce and traditional European cooking with modern thinking filtered through.
London has earned a reputation as being one of the gastronomic capitals of the world and Avenue was the first to bring that class of cooking to Hong Kong. Whatever you call this cuisine, it’s in great shape. Hong Kong diners are in for a gastronomic delight with luscious lunches and delicious dinners in an environment that is quite simply, the best of the Modern World. Avenue is the place to “see and be seen” in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Avenue’s 5,900 square foot interior is crisp and contemporary in its overall effect. The main attraction of Avenue is the generous open space planning with white washed walls and white reconstituted marble tile flooring, dramatically accented with unusually large and colourful abstract paintings by renowned Finnish artist Soile Yli Mayry and the murals of local artist Patrick Walls. The oval bar at the centre of the restaurant creates a focal point with spacious surrounding dining areas, providing ample opportunities for people watching. Mayry’s vibrant paintings are juxtaposed against two large glass walls overlooking the neon of both Nathan and Mody Road, creating dramatic mood lighting and reflections within the interior. This makes it possible for guests to enjoy the shining stars both inside and outside of Avenue.
