Once the hot spot for cocktail drinking hipsters, NEO Cocktail Club bowed out from the scene last year in November. But as promised, they've made a comeback and they've got new drinks and a bigger food menu to go with it. Check out the details beneath the cut.
The interior is recognizably similar to its previous life in the same spot, but we're not complaining. The small but cosy place fits about 45 people, and apart from bonding over their retro pinball machines, foosball table and arcade games, you can now also just dance on their DJ nights (Wednesday to Saturday every week), or enjoy a good ol' drinking game.
The limelight is on their cocktails here at NEO, and you can take your pick from their signature Neo-Hive 2.0 ($120HKD), Mars Attacks ($110HKD) or Fuzzy Sucker ($120HKD). Fun names aside, tipples are affordable at about $90-130HKD a pop.
Being the sister bar of French restaurant Cocoette, they're almost obliged to serve up some amazing bites. Their new food menu features fun sharing dishes like the NEO's Sliders ($90HKD for two) with the choice of Wagyu beef, spicy lamb and pulled pork. We've got our eyes on their homemade guac 'n nacho chips ($150HKD), as well as French classics like steak tartare ($250HKD) and king salmon rillette ($190HKD).
We're happy that this retro and laidback hangout made a comeback, and we sure hope this time NEO's staying for good!
