Just across the road from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR exit E; my friend and I paid a visit to Sky Lounge at Sheraton on a Thursday night to try out their newest “Pink it Up Ladies!” Happy Hour package. Needless to say, the hotel is known for its global recognition of classiness and excellence with their services and designs; but upon stepping out of the 18th floor were we extra mesmerized by the 180 degrees view of the Victoria Harbor that it also had.
Simple, comfortable and intimate; the Sky Lounge faces the HKCEC, making it one of the best spot to enjoy annual Fireworks and the daily “Symphony of Lights” laser show. On top of that, the venue also offers great food, including after hour dim sums; perfect for the late nighters who are never up on time for morning yum cha sessions.
Served with a glass of Taittinger Nocturne Rosé Sec NV each first; the pink bubbling champagne was already stunning with its looks, not to mention how smooth it went down the throat. With a crisp taste and barely any clogging of aftertaste; each swallow was easy and soft, perfect for the ladies’ appetite. Matched with complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries; enjoy the second glass for free at the price of just HKD $200.
If you’re not a fan of champagne, don’t be disappointed as the venue also offers a range of other alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks including the following cocktails and mocktails we’d recommend. The Sky Eye at HKD $118 is a classic cocktail featuring premium vodka mixed with strawberry liquor with a creamy layer finish. Thickly laying in the martini glass like a milkshake; the taste is actually the complete opposite, with it being very silky and smooth flowing in a fruitful aroma. Also shining in a pink shade, their nonalcoholic Rose Marie at HKD $90 is a lovely mocktail mixing lychee and berry with a soda base, topped with rose syrup for finish.
The space is perfect for a small group of best friends for hanging out after work at; not to mention the atmosphere allows carefree laughter and chit chat, with toasted nuts that would surprise you as to how good they taste! Pop open those packets on the table and enjoy a relaxing night on the 18th floor of Sheraton Hotel Hong Kong.
