Tell us a little bit about how you got started DJing.

Who was your biggest inspiration?
We started DJing about 6 years ago, just playing friends house parties and got into the early progressive sound with Woz not Woz and early Axwell. Inspiration wise we’d say Hardwell, the Swedes and also producers from other genres like Dr. Dre and Timbaland. We try not to get pigeon holed. We start fresh with each track and make sure we do something unique..0

Will this be your first time in Macao?

Yeah this is our first time in Macao, we’ve got a bit of spare time there for a change as well, so we’re keen to have a look around. We’re always up for anything so we’ll see!

How do you feel that DJing and producing has changed over the last few years?

DJing and producing have become really closely related over the last few years. People get to know you and your style by the tracks you write and if they’re vibing, they’ll come to your shows. Also, more and more people have become more and more involved in following electronic music in general which is mint!

What was your favourite memory of 2014 so far and what do you have planned for the rest of the year?

We just recently played at Tomorrowworld and we’d have to say that show. The vibe, the people, the venue – it was all so unreal. For the rest of the year we’ve got a lot more new music coming and a heap more touring!

What can we expect from your upcoming performance at Cubic?

We’re pumped as to play Cubic, so come ready for a next-level party, mint tunes and good vibes!

Aside from your DJ equipment, name your top three touring essentials.

That would have to be our Laptops, our studio headphones and our spare USB’s and SD cards.

Do you have any pre-gig rituals?

We don’t really have any rituals but we do usually get to the show abit earlier and suss out the vibe, the room and what the DJ before us is playing.

Who in your opinion are the best up-and-coming producers at the moment?

There’s some guys back home right now who are making some mint tunes. Guy’s like MattyWatkins, Who Killed Mickey, Chris Bullen, JDG, Chardy and Krunk! are all so talented and absolute legends.

If you weren’t DJs/Producers what would you be doing?

We haven’t really thought about that! We were at uni before our music started to take off, but we’d usually have our headphones on and producing in class hahaha

What tracks/projects can we look forward to in the upcoming months?

We’ve got a heap of new music coming in the next few months. Some are solo and some are collaborations. We can’t say much about them just yet but it’s all coming soon!

What would be your dream collaboration?

We’ve never really been into collaborating with someone just because of profile or whatever. We’re just always open to collaborating with anyone who writes good music and a fresh vibe. We’ve heard unreal ideas from both established producers and really new up and comers – if we think we can add something to the tune or concept then we’ll be keen to collab!
