One of the most exciting young artists from Hong Kong will be partnering up with Absolut to build a nightly changing program of live music during Art Basel this May 2014. With Abbas’ artworks exploring ideas of perception and often taking inspirations from realms of literature, psychology and sciences; he will be building a post- apocalyptic bunker- like set titled “Apocalypse Postponed” for the event.
Ambitious, and site- specific; this art bar will be opened daily throughout the 15th to the 18th of May 2014, showcasing not only Nadim’s installation but also rundowns of DJ sets, screenings and theatrical performances all curated by the artist himself. With a series of limited edition cocktails designed under the themes of Apocalypse Postponed by the artist as well, they will be served during Art Basel this year.
