In Moment Voles II, Eydie demonstrated her unique style of photography being free spirit, natural, and spontaneous. Every picture processed strong emotions and color contrasts while maintaining its natural beauty.
The opening of Moment Voles II will be on Thursday, 26th April, 7 to 9pm at Philia. The original photographer, Eydie Veronique Tai, will be present to introduce her masterpiece. In addition, photo icons, including celebrities and models, whom have been captured by her master work, will celebrate this special occasion with Eydie and other distinguished guests. Profile of Eydie Veronique Tai
Began to take up photography in Taipei American School at a mere age of 15, Eydie initially had uncertainties, whether or not she could manage utilizing & "work" with camera equipments, as she could barely manage to take care of herself & rather clumsy in general. Having said that, her talent in Photography was soon evitable recognized by many experts & photography lovers. Eydie then, proceeded to d prestigious Rhode Island School of Design for Architecture and Interior Design while exploring on her photography on the side.
After graduating from college, and receiving her degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts, she then relocated to New York City & worked as a free-lance photographer to build & strengthen her photo portfolio for almost 4 yrs. During those times, she has approached, and been accepted to work with models, from several renowned Modeling Agencies, such as Ford, Q, Click & Wilhemina. Eydie made the best out of the circumstances, and accumulated an immense amount of experiences, to prepare her on becoming a professional. In 2000, Eydie returned to Taipei & immediately began shooting some top celebrities such as Shu Qi, Chang Chen, Richie Jen, Coco Lee, Momoko Tao, and Janet Li. She has directed many cover shooting for both local/international magazines such as Men's Uno, Marie Claire, and Elle.
