Porsche Design and Blackberry came together again to launch their latest luxury Smartphone, the all new Porsche Design P’9982. The new release follows their successful first collaboration on the P’9981 in 2012; and is expected to outperform its predecessor both in functionality and aesthetically.
The P’9982 is built with a customized version of the Blackberry 10.2 OS to excel mobile communication, messaging and productivity for its user. It features the BlackBerry® Priority Hub, which intelligently filters messages to give instant access to the conversations and content that matter the most. The BBM™ Now function also allows instant reply to BBM messages in any app, showcasing Blackberry’s refined platform to enhance the communication experience.
The new luxury Smartphone also makes sharing with others simple, with the likes of BBM™ Video with Screen Share allowing display share with a simple swipe, making in-call confusion a thing of the past. The Camera Time Shift mode starts capturing pictures even before the user begins to take it, giving the user the power to choose the perfect moment for sharing.
The Porsche Design P’9982 brings elegance and timeless design back to an everyday product, and is built with the elite in mind. Featuring a satin-finished stainless steel single frame and high quality Sapphire glass, Porsche Design has ensured the brand’s slick design does not compromise material durability.
Together with the hand-wrapped luxurious Italian leather backdoor, the P’9982 brings comfort and instant recognition to its user. The handcrafted backdoor is also available in three exquisite colours, fuchsia purple, blue and sandshell, for the user to best express their individuality.
The P’9982 was launched for the first time in Asia via Hong Kong at an exclusive event that also saw the CEO of Porsche Design and Country Director of Blackberry Taiwan and Hong Kong in attendance. Other attendees included local celebrity Moses Chan.
The new release is sure to cement Porsche Design’s status as a leader in the luxury Smartphone segment.
The Porsche Design P’9982 is available at Porsche Design stores and selected carriers at HKD$16,888.
