I started DJ'ing in 1994 playing U.S. House & Garage, as it was known in those days. As the bass heavy early UK Garage sound started to gather momentum, it was a natural progression for me to blend the vocal tracks i had been playing with more bumpy and jacking new sound of young London. This led to me being invited to host a weekly Saturday night primetime show on long running London pirate radio station Flex 103.6FM, playing up-front U.K. and U.S. tracks. Regular bookings at clubs in the Greater London area and beyond soon followed, plus guest slots on other radio stations such as Delight 103FM (home of the So'Solid Crew).

Although DJing was enjoyable, my goal was always to be a music producer. Having invested in studio equipment and studied to be a recording engineer, I was able to provide studio time and recording services to a professional level. Through word of mouth I built up a regular schedule of work in my own studio and went on to write and produce 15 tracks that were eventually released as 12” vinyl singles. Artists I have worked with include Matt Jay (Busted, global superstar pop/rock band), Genius Cru (2 x UK Top 20 Garage act), Sharkey P (of hit UK Garage act DJ Pied Piper & The Masters Of Ceremonies), the Wu-Tang Clan (collaboration with Genius Cru) and many more. Championed by UK Garage legend Matt 'Jam' Lamont and others, my tracks have received airplay on London's biggest commercial radio stations, Kiss 100FM and Choice 96.9FM. They were also regularly heard in clubs and across the airwaves of London's legendary pirate radio stations.

In more recent years U.K. Garage unfortunately slid down the slippery slope of violence and guns that almost killed the early Jungle/Drum & Bass movement. Throughout the whole MC/’Bling-Bling’ era i remained true to my musical roots and more importantly to my sense of what DJing, music and clubs should be about... Music, friendship, escape, glamour and sensuality. The search for a new challenge led me far away from the streets of London…

I am now based in Hong Kong and have been Resident DJ & Music Director at Armani/Bar HK since summer 2006. Naturally the music policy i have implemented in this role closely follows my personal principles as does the level of professionalism exhibited by my team of DJ’s. Having the pleasure of playing alongside some of the World's greatest exponents of DJing (and music in general) during my time at Armani/Bar has been a phenomenal experience for me... Norman Jay MBE, Jazzie B & The Soul II Soul Soundsystem, Derrick May, Satoshi Tomiie, Benji Candelario, Nicky Siano, Eric Kupper, Lisa Loud, Andrea T Mendoza, Halo & Kemal, Rocco Rodamaal, Souldynamic, Luis Radio and many more... The list is endless! Additionally, my reputation and proven experience in delivering premium musical ambience on behalf of Armani/Bar HK means that I am regularly chosen to provide the sounds at high-end private events requiring a certain ‘luxe’ touch: Lounge bars/clubs, private yac
