You might be an experienced hand at classic hot pot, but you've probably never tried anything like Megan's Kitchen in Wan Chai. The restaurant offers a range of unique broths like English Oxtail Soup, Sichuan Super Hot Chili Escargot Soup, Fresh Lobster Borscht Soup, Tom Yum Koong Cappuccino, and more! Can't decide which one to try? Not a problem. The always-accommodating team at Megan's will happily split the pot so you can sample up to 3 different broths all at once.
Of course, the stock is only half the delicious story. You'd be remiss if you didn't have a main order of beef at Megan's. The Local Snowflake Beef is as tantalizing as it sounds, the generous marbling making it look like a snowflake! Or you can try some of their amaze-balls (our term not theirs): beef balls stuffed with cheese, chicken and quail egg meat balls, salted duck egg yolk pork balls - just to namedrop a few. You'll never settle for boring old plain meat balls again!
And we haven't even touched on the non-hotpot dishes yet, like the Fried Diced Tofu in Salty Egg Yolk Paste - most definitely a Chope favourite among the appetizers.
